Description

Starting from Lisbon, the first wonder of this tour is the crossing of the Tagus River via the 25 de Abril Bridge. Rising 113 metres above the cities of Almada and Lisbon, the Sanctuary of Christ the King offers a 360º panoramic view of both banks of the Tagus River and the surrounding area. Inside the four pillars of the Monument to Christ the King, symbolizing the four cardinal points, is the Chapel of Our Lady of Peace.
